Services for these premises
Building Fabric — doors, partitions, floors and cleanable finishes
Building Fabric — Defined repairs to the building and its finishes.
Mechanical — Building plant tasks coordinated with the site’s technical contacts.
These are practical starting points within the full service range. The scope follows the building and the work required, including other trades and specialist systems where they form part of the instruction.
Projects and improvements
Surveys and Feasibility establish options and dependencies. Minor Works address a defined repair or improvement. Programme Management coordinates work windows and interdependent tasks. Explore all project types for the wider offering.
Maintenance and repairs
Use planned maintenance for identified recurring tasks, and fault finding when the cause is uncertain. The plan should show which tasks require the operator’s authorisation, a system interruption or specialist acceptance.
Access, occupancy and coordination
Identify animal holding areas, escape-sensitive doors, treatment times and routes for materials. Agree how doors will be controlled during deliveries and how dust and noise will be contained. Keep clinical equipment and medicines within the practice’s own authorised arrangements. Identify the person who can explain the defect and agree practical access to the affected property area.
Decisions that shape the work
Describe whether the task concerns the building, general services or specialist clinical equipment. A damaged reception floor has different cleaning and reopening requirements from work in a treatment room. Confirm the finish, cleaning products and equipment loads before specifying replacements.
From enquiry to completion
Send a description and the desired repair or improvement. We clarify the affected area, restrictions and information needed to scope the task, then agree the work and handover with the responsible customer.
Records and follow-up
Completion records should identify the room, finish or system changed, cleaning and reinstatement actions, and any testing required by the scope. The practice decides when an area is ready for animal care.
Locations covered
We support properties across the recorded North East England coverage area, including Newcastle, Gateshead, Sunderland, Durham and wider locations in Northumberland, Tyne and Wear, County Durham and Teesside. Use the locations directory and include the address and access contact for each property.
Frequently asked questions
Can repairs be planned around appointments?
Provide appointment hours, treatment commitments and the rooms that can be released. The agreed programme can separate preparation, disruptive work and reopening so the practice can plan its appointments.
Are specialist veterinary machines included?
Describe each item in the enquiry. Clinical machinery and its servicing require an explicit specialist scope; a general property-maintenance instruction does not include them automatically.
What information helps scope the job?
Provide a non-sensitive description, the property location, affected area or asset, impact on use and the authorised contact. Identify any work window, specialist requirement or approval dependency.
Can several trades be included?
Yes. Identify the whole outcome and the interfaces between trades so the scope can establish coordination, access and completion responsibilities.
