Clinical Drainage Remediation at a Gateshead Veterinary Site
The tub table was draining slowly and backing up through its waste connection. The initial instruction allowed for investigation and minor adjustment, while recognising that a deeper blockage or structural fault might require further work.
Diagnosis and approach
Black & White Property Services attended within the 24-hour response requirement. Inspection of the u-bend and connected pipework found that the original waste outlet was too high, leaving inadequate fall for reliable drainage.
Instead of treating the symptom, the team established a lower route through the supporting cabinetry and repiped the connection to create an effective gradient.
