Multi-Trade Refurbishment in Sunderland

Black & White Property Services completed a package of repairs and decoration at a managed residential property in Sunderland. Arranged through a lettings company, the work combined plumbing, joinery, ventilation and room-by-room finishing within one scope.

The challenge

Several areas of the property needed attention. The kitchen tap was in poor condition, a reception-room door needed repair and realignment, and radiator controls were missing.

Decoration was also required in the bedrooms and around areas of staining in the porch, kitchen and landing. Bathroom ventilation and several smaller fittings formed part of the same repair list.

Work completed

The team replaced the kitchen tap and a broken kitchen door handle, cleaned the oven and grill, and fitted a new letterbox.

The reception-room door frame was repaired around the hinge positions before the door was realigned and rehung. The work also included replacement radiator controls, a bedroom latch and a carpet threshold on the landing.

Decoration covered the three bedrooms, with stain sealing before painting where specified. A bedroom feature wall was returned to a neutral finish, blinds were removed, and the first bedroom's ceiling was included in the painting scope.

In the bathroom, the team supplied and installed a replacement extraction unit and window handle. Waste removal formed part of the agreed package.

The repairs and decoration were completed across the property, addressing the fittings, finishes and ventilation requirements within one package.
