Black & White Property Services formally adopts the public policies, standards and frameworks contained in the current Black & White Group corporate, legal and assurance library to the extent applicable to its activities.
David George Swaddle, trading as Black & White Property Services, remains independently responsible for:
- legal, tax and statutory obligations;
- quotations, contracts and service delivery;
- employees, workers, suppliers and subcontractors;
- insurance, licences, registrations and competence;
- health, safety, environmental and quality controls;
- data protection, privacy and information security; and
- the accuracy of business-specific claims and evidence.
Where law, customer status, contract or service risk requires a business-specific procedure or stronger control, that additional requirement applies. Adoption does not make Black & White Group a contracting party, employer, insurer, service provider or data controller.
Adoption makes the identified Group versions part of the business's internal governance system. They apply to the Owner, workers, representatives and suppliers within scope and are incorporated into appointments, instructions or contracts where contractual enforcement is required. A business-specific document prevails for trading identity, VAT, customer status, terms, privacy, contacts and delivery. Mandatory law always prevails.
A deviation requires a recorded reason, scope, risk assessment, authorised approval and review date. Adopted versions are preserved and implementation is reviewed through work records, supplier checks, incidents, complaints, training and annual management review.
