Commercial Heating and Hot-Water Replacement at a Gateshead Veterinary Hospital

The existing boiler, cylinder and associated components were removed before the new installation was set out against the retained building services. Black & White Property Services installed an Ideal EnviroMax 2 60kW commercial boiler, an Ideal pre-plumbed commercial cylinder and a commercial MagnaClean filtration unit. New and modified pipework connected the equipment to the existing system.

The supporting work included a purpose-made plywood backboard, a commercial-grade equipment platform, colour coding of existing gas pipework and protective finishing around rough edges. Removed equipment and waste were taken away through the recorded waste route.

The completion report records the heating and hot-water system as operational following commissioning and functional testing. It also records the site handover. No performance saving or long-term efficiency improvement is claimed because the available evidence does not quantify one.
