Cost, timing and disruption
The number and type of new connections are only part of the price. Route length, access to concealed spaces, existing board condition, protection requirements and finishes can change the scope. Properties with restricted routes may need more preparation than a straightforward addition suggests.
Agree the working window and which rooms or equipment will lose supply. Include removal of redundant fittings and reinstatement where required. If the incoming supply needs separate work, its timing must be coordinated before promising completion of the property alteration.
